"The best farm buildings you’re likely ever to see. " -Opumo Magazine (UK)

"One of the most attractive projects we've seen in a while" -The Coolector

The studio was engaged to design a two bed guest house that echoed the NSW South Coast dairy farm that it was located on. It was a very tight time frame to build and on a windy exposed site. The deceptively simple pitched roof design allowed the build to go up quick and masks the detail of this modern farm shed, operable copper shutters open and close on demand to either protect from the sun or open up to the views.

The project is an ode to the other farm buildings on the property and grounds its inhabitants into the rhythms of farm life as you gaze through the windows to the cows returning to the milking sheds.
